24th August 2021, Breda, Netherlands – At the 2021 edition of the World Beer Awards, O.J. Beer has won Silver for its Belgian Style Witbier and Bronze for its Belgian Pilsener. In order to receive these awards, O.J. Beer scored highly on taste and design.
In each country and category, there is one country winner, one gold winner, one silver winner and one bronze winner. The judging panel consists of beer industry experts including several accredited beer sommeliers' such as Anthony Gladman and Paul Davies as well as award winning author Jell Evans. Beers are judged by the 80 judges from all over the world based on quality and design - and then scored via a point system before the winner is chosen.
“As brand owners, the team and I pride ourselves in the quality of our liquid and the unique design of our packaging. We are honoured to have won in not one but two categories at the World Beer Awards for both taste and design.” said Rick Delaney.
O.J. Blanche is a pale, dense wheat beer characterised by its coriander aromas. It is a cloudy white beer created using barley malt, wheat, oat, coriander, orange peels and hops. O.J. Blanche is available in a 500ml can and 330ml bottle. O.J. Pilsener has a light bodied, crisp and bitter taste with a dry, refreshing finish. This lager beer is a bottom-fermented beer, brewed according to the German Purity Law with only water, barley malt and hops. O.J. Pilsener is available in 500ml can, 330ml can and 330ml bottle. O.J. Beer is available in 69 countries worldwide.
